Jenet is a Clinical Intern from the University of Toronto Master of Education program in Counselling Psychology (Counselling & Psychotherapy) at OISE.
Jenet holds a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from Queen’s University, an M. A in Psychology from Wilfrid University, and B. Ed from University of Toronto.
For over 25 years Jenet has provided support to youth, adults and families around issues involving school engagement issues, social and family relationships, anxiety, depression, and addictions.
Jenet is also interested in supporting individuals with life cycle transition challenges, including marriage, divorce, work/life balance, retirement, empty-nest, ageing parents and grief, including pet bereavement.
Jenet leads Mindfulness Coping Skills Groups for children and adolescents at our clinic.
Jenet uses a person-centred focus in counselling and draws from CBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic techniques.
Jenet is available on Fridays in Mississauga.
